Bailey was endlessly flexible and creative in working with our unique and changing needs. We had a multi-generational family vacation with specific requirements and a very constrained geographical location. She found a place that made me a hero with my family - no easy feat!

Trip Summary

Satisfy your craving for adventure by exploring the idyllic coast and past ruins of a bygone era. With each activity, you will uncover new knowledge about the scattered ruins along the Lycian Way. The adventures will have you harnessing the wind, connecting with the earth, diving into the water, and seeking out fiery lands.

You will arrive at Antalya International Airport (AYT) and be welcomed by a driver. They will take you to your accommodation. For 2 nights, you will stay at a quaint and rustic hotel located in the heart of Antalya’s old town. Depending on the time of your arrival, you’ll either have time to enjoy the afternoon on Konyaalti beach, or you’ll jump straight to the adventure by heading to the Tünektepe Teleferik for a gorgeous sunset high above the city. If you arrive early enough in the day, you can also opt for a quad biking experience in the nearby Taurus mountains.

Dinner recommendations will be provided.

What's included:

  •  Airport Transportation
  •  Accommodation

Optional addition:

  • Quad bike tour (+$40 pp)

You’ll start Day 2 with the Turkish breakfast of your dreams at a cafe near your hotel. Then you’ll head to the mountains where you’ll take a short hike to the ancient city of Termessos. Located at 1,665 m (~5,500 ft) in a secluded section of the Taurus mountains, the well-preserved city is an incredible site to see.

Once you return to Antalya, you’ll head to the Anthropology Museum where marvelous statues, tombs, and historical artifacts await your discovery. Later in the afternoon, you’ll take a walking tour through Antalya’s old town, Kaleiçi. There, you’ll walk the windy streets, see various ruins and significant architecture, and learn the importance of it all in ancient Roman times. Your evening will be free for you to explore the town on your own time, but the suggested activity is to head to Konyaalti Beach to enjoy some relaxing time and an incredible sunset.

*Dinner recommendations provided.

What's included:

  • Breakfast and Lunch
  • Transportation
  • Entry fees to Termessos and Antalya Museum
  • Tour Guide for the day

Enjoy breakfast at the hotel before taking local buses to Olympos, a quiet and historic town west of Antalya. Check into a room at Kadir’s Treehouse Hotel (yes, actual treehouses!) before heading for lunch of your choice.

Spend the afternoon wandering around the Olympos ancient necropolis and relaxing on the gorgeous pebble beach. Be careful where you sit though, as sea turtles lay egg nests on this beach!

Eat a healthy dinner at Kadir’s. After sunset is when the real adventure of the day begins: hunting for fire! Your guide will drive you to Mount Chimaera. Here, equipped with a flashlight, you’ll take a short hike to find eternal flames. This fire-breathing mountain has been naturally alight for over 2,500 years! Take some marshmallows and enjoy the unique geological phenomenon under a sky full of stars. Back at Kadir’s, you’ll be greeted by another fire, this time man-made, to sit by and chat the night away with fellow guests. If you feel like that isn’t enough activity for the day, you can go rock climbing as an additional excursion!

What's included:

  •  Breakfast and Dinner
  •  Accommodation
  •  Transportation and entrance fee to evening hike

Optional addition:

  • Rock climbing excursion (+$30 pp)
